A travel cot or single fold out chair bed/ mattress can be provided on request and there is ample storage and hanging space in the bedroom.
The traditional style bathroom is accessed from the bedroom, with a full size bath and separate shower.
The Annexe offers all modern conveniences, yet encompasses the traditional style and uniqueness of the property.
The Turret
The Turret
The Turret is a quirky and unique place to stay, featuring beautiful arched windows, a living room converted from a stable and a double height ceiling in the ‘master’ bedroom.
The ground floor is mostly open plan, with a traditional handmade kitchen with modern appliances, dining table seating 4, a large leather sofa and an LED ‘smart’ TV. The bathroom has a full size bath with shower over and is a modern classic style with quality ‘GROHE’ fittings.
A steep narrow staircase leads to two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom is in the ‘turret’ space itself, and has a double height pitched ceiling and a standard size (4ft 6” wide) double bed and rustic style chandelier light. There is a small cupboard with hanging space on the landing just outside of this room. At the other end of the landing is a second bedroom which is perfect for couples with a small family, this offers a small (4ft wide) double bed and a further single fold out chair bed/ mattress, storage & hanging space.
The Turret is tastefully decorated in a modern yet traditional style. Please note that there is a fire escape from The Turret master bedroom leading to external steps down to the garden. We ask guests to keep children away from this. The doorway from the landing to the master bedroom is very low so please mind your head!
